My name is Tara and I am a stay at home mother of a daughter Jaydyn. .My fiance John works full time as skylight installer, when I came to the choice of going back to work or staying home, I chose to open my home and my heart to families in my community, hoping to find like minded parents and children to grow up along side my daughter. I have been blessed. I have been doing daycare for years and can honestly say I LOVE MY JOB!
I'm easy going and a "type b" personality. It takes a lot to make me angry and I very rarely get upset. I'm very creative and enjoy making things- I'll have your kids playing with play dough, colouring and building "forts" in no time. I love gardening and in the summer you'll usually find us in the yard playing or digging in the dirt.
I never make a permanent schedule- I'll pencil everything in and see how it goes. Fortunately, I haven't driven any of my parents crazy yet! :)
I try to always be open to new ideas- so if you have anything you want me to try out Mor something you want done differently, we can give it a try. I want you to know there is an open door policy here- please come talk to me about anything.
I really enjoy baking so we are often in the kitchen making cookies, muffins, bread whatever that week calls for. I grew up in a daycare home, and I can say that both of my aunts are highly rewarded for there efforts in the daycare community, they teach semiars on child developement and child behaviors, I try to take heed in the advice I have been blessed to recieve from them.
I believe in more playtime then tv time, interaction and imagination are highly incouraged here...Im a very kind caring and understanding person and this gives me the opportunity to be there for my daughter, home to take care of the house and my family, and the chance to teach, and learn with your children. I believe highly in child developement and learning in fun ways that keep kids intrested such as parties for theme months and games, stories and outting! A child mind is like a sponge and they have so much to learn and I am blessed to get to stand back and watch them learn something new everyda I look forward to meeting you very soon.
Our dayhome is a fun place for children to just be! We play games, play with an abundance of toys, have music and sing alongs, and have our daily reading hour in our child friendly playroom. We create crafts and participate in supervised cookie and muffin bake alongs upstairs in our large, open kitchen. We also like to get outside and play in the large fenced in backyard that is fully stocked with tons of outside cars, a playhouse, and balls. We have an organized schedule that keeps the children busy as they learn, grow and interact with other children. We are sure to have ample quiet time and rest places available for the children to recharge their batteries. We provide healthy snacks, and lunches that are included in your fee.
